Jacob Crabtree (1759-1846) was married to Mary Price,
sister of Thomas and Richard (see the following).
He had been one of the thirty axmen who had gone with
Daniel Boone to blaze the Wilderness Trail in 1775.
He was the Uncle of Isaac Crabtree, who was a survivor of
the murder of James Boone, the son of Daniel.
